Even so, although Shrek's flaws bother and upset Fiona, she nonetheless still loves him greater than something and anyone and vice versa. Throughout the sequels and tv collection, Shrek and Fiona's relationship continues to grow, and Fiona is often the middle of Shrek's adventures, largely because of his want to constantly defend, impress, or otherwise show his love for her. When they met one another personally at Dragon's Keep, Shrek and Fiona initially did not see eye-to-eye or got alongside very nicely.
Originally, Shrek was supposed to be voiced by Chris Farley, but he died in December 1997. He had done 80% / 90% (or 95% based on his brother Tom) of ending the project.
