One of my favorite things to do with my son when a new film comes out is talk to him. With movies just released and the Christmas break commencing this week, there is no better way to fill the hours of the day than coloring sheets, door hangers, and Star Wars games. I have compiled a selected collection of 50 pages from coloring books of the 1980s to create a spoiler-free, self-made Star Wars adventure story that does not require any knowledge of the original series. You won't get recipes, but you will get a colorful compendium of geek history stretching from 1887 to the present.
It is amazing to see how different your images look when you color them. In 3.0 Dune we learned that coloring templates are for nihilistic children and that one should not publish coloring books from the 1980s showing corpses spread out on the floor. What makes this so cool is that the parent vapor of the activity does not show your child the final product.
