The thirty-seventh Disney animated characteristic film and the final film produced through the Disney Renaissance era, it's based on the story Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs and is the primary animated main movement image model of the Tarzan story. Directed by Chris Buck and Kevin Lima with a screenplay by Tab Murphy, Bob Tzudiker, and Noni White, Tarzan features the voices of Tony Goldwyn, Minnie Driver, Glenn Close, and Rosie O’Donnell with Brian Blessed, Lance Henriksen, Wayne Knight, and Nigel Hawthorne. The next day, as Porter and Jane put together to leave on the ship, Tarzan reveals that he now plans to keep with the gorilla troop. As the ship leaves shore, Porter encourages his daughter to stick with the man she loves, and Jane jumps overboard to return to shore; Porter shortly follows himself. The two are accepted into the gorilla troop where, as the music says, they are all lastly "Two Worlds, One Family".
