A study on the effects of Winnie the Pooh on stress suggests that reading about Pooh’s adventures can reduce stress levels in children. The study, conducted by the University of Exeter, found that just 10 minutes of reading about Winnie the Pooh can help reduce stress and anxiety in children and make them feel more positive. We promise you won’t be bored during your coloring session. Here are some of our favorite tips:
Collect butterflies and other animals for your coloring. Why? Because these adorable characters hold a special place in our hearts.
Make bubbles with different kinds of watercolor paper. It doesn't matter what kind of paper you use — squirrel, watermelon, or garter snakes will be just as cute.
If you’re old enough, you can color your pet’s fur. It will not only provide a great visual for your coloring session but it will also promote better social interactions!
Coloring is a great way to relax, boost your immune system, and get a little exercise. If there’s one thing you should know about relaxing — it’s that it takes time and dedication. That’s why you should find time to spend with the things that make you happy. If brushing your cat’s teeth gives you the peace of mind you need to zone out for five minutes, then you need to find those five minutes — and the tools to enjoy them. We can’t stress how important it is to have plans for upcoming relaxation time. No matter how much I love a good coloring session, I prepare a short cue before I start and then immediately take a five-minute break. That takes care of any anxiety you might have or finding time for your creativity.
